KEVT INDIA PVT. LTD. is a startup company having its headquarter at Belagavi, Karnataka, India. The team of Engineers having similar vision and passion joined hands together for a global cause and formed the company under the brand name of KAASA. The main object of the team is to provide a solution for increasing major carbon footprint caused by automobile industries, to reduce dependency of importing the similar technology and becoming a part of ‘Make in India’ concept. With lots of hard-work and innovative mind set, Team KAASA is proud to launch 1’st completely Indian made Green Mobility solution as retrofitting kit to convert existing vehicles to pure electric and also providing complete electric powertrain solution to new electric vehicle manufacturers globally.
Our Story
Our story began when Mr. Ashok Bangera (Founder) started to think of providing Indian made efficient and cost-effective green mobility solution to address the increasing problem of pollution from fuel engine vehicles. This thought came into reality because of his expertise and years of experience which he has acquired from managing his own company “Vidyut Power Systems”, which is specialized in the field of power electronics, embedded design & development, and manufacturing.
After a lot of market study and survey it was found that there is no proper availability of EV Powertrain solutions in India, and because of which it has led to increased dependency on overseas companies for such solutions, which is also one of the main reason for slower growth of EV in India.
A team of extremely talented engineers was formed to work on this concept, and execute the plan. The team decided to go for 3 phase AC induction motor based powertrain solution to achieve more efficiency and ruggedness. Also, they started working on a unique system, which is a combination of Battery charger, BMS and Monitoring Display Unit which we named as BCMS (Battery Charger & Management System).
With a lot of efforts, dedication and hard work the team successfully developed Powertrain, BCMS and Li-ion battery pack within a year. This successful journey has boosted our team’s morale and confidence and this gave us the vision to form a startup company called KAASA ELECTRIC VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES INDIA PVT. LTD. with the help of a few other co-founders.
Now we are all set to deliver world-class products and solutions which will bring revolution in the green mobility industry and will also be a part of ‘Make in India’ initiative. This is our small contribution towards saving the environment and for our future generations.
